​The consultative meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers, chaired by HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, concluded in Doha Tuesday.

​HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met separately on Tuesday with Arab foreign ministers that participated in the Doha consultative meeting of the Arab Foreign Ministers.

The Qatari-Saudi Follow-up Committee held its third meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Monday with HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt Sameh Shoukry, who is currently visiting the country.

The State of Qatar stressed the importance of Israel cooperating with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) regarding its nuclear capabilities, and to open its atomic reactors to inspectors.

The United Nations General Assembly unanimously elected HE Permanent Representative of the State of Qatar to UN Sheikha Alya Ahmed bin Saif Al-Thani, to lead the Sixth Committee as Chairperson of the Legal Committee of the 76th session of the UN General Assembly, which will kick off on Sep. 14 of 2021.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Sunday with HE Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah Al Hajraf, who is visiting the country.

The State of Qatar participated in the extraordinary session of the Permanent Council of the Francophonie (CPF), chaired by HE Secretary-General of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) Louise Mushikiwabo.
