The State of Qatar has a permanent and resident representation on an ambassadorial level in Canada. The Embassy has multi-task activities in political, economic, consular, and educational fields. The political assignment is by observing the current events, the political and economic circumstances, and enhancing the bilateral relations to serve the mutual interests of both countries. Furthermore, the mission facilitates and provides consular assistance to the Qatari citizens visiting, studying or investing in Canada. The Embassy has Academic Office as well which coordinates between Canadian educational institutions and Qataris who are looking to study in Canada, process their applications, enabling them to obtain suitable academic admission, and flow up with them after their arrival to Canada.
