The Embassy of the State of Qatar Celebrates Qatar National Day

 - Location

On the occasion of the National Sports Day, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Canada organized a sporting event in the federal capital, Ottawa, with the participation of His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Rashid Al-Mansouri, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Canada, along with diplomats and embassy staff.

The Qatari Embassy in Ottawa Celebrates National Day

 - Location

His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Rashid Al-Hamoudi Al-Mansouri, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Canada, held a celebration in Ottawa on the occasion of the National Day of the State. The celebration was attended by a number of esteemed ministers, civil and military officials of the Canadian government, led by His Excellency the Minister of International Development Mr. Ahmed Hussen, as well as members of parliament, including members of the Canada-Qatar Parliamentary Friendship Committee, and heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to Canada, and guests of the embassy.

The Embassy Celebrates the National Sport Day

The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Canada organized an event on the occasion of the 13th National Sport Day under the slogan "The Choice is Yours", with the participation of HE Dr. Khalid Bin Rashid Al-Mansouri, the diplomats and the embassy staff.

The Embassy of Qatar receives two awards at the Heritage Food Exhibition

​The Embassy of the State of Qatar participated in the “Y Embassy Chef Showcase” organized by the YMCA Charity Foundation, at the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters. The Embassy of the State of Qatar received, at the conclusion of the event, two awards; The Judges' Award for the best dish and The People's Choice Award for the best food.

The Embassy’s staff organize Various National Sport Day Activities

On the National Sports Day, and with the participation of the acting Chargé d'Affaires, members of the diplomatic staff and local employees, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Ottawa, organized an event, which included various sporting activities in Confederation Park in central Ottawa.

In Ottawa, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Canada Khalid Rashid Salem Al Hamoudi Al Mansouri organized a ceremony on the occasion of the National Day of the State. The ceremony was attended by a number of Their Excellencies the ministers, government officials, MPs, heads and representatives of diplomatic missions accredited to Canada, and friends of the embassy.

The Embassy held “The Road to the World Cup” event

 - Location

The Embassy of the State of Qatar held “The Road to the World Cup” event, with wide participation from senior Canadian Government officials, Honourable Members of Parliament, representatives of Canadian soccer and sport associations and the civil society, and diplomatic corps accredited to Canada.

The embassy organised an event on the occasion of the National Sports Day with the participation of His Excellency Ambassador Dr. Khalid bin Rashid Al-Mansouri, the diplomatic staff and local staff. The event included walking and jogging, while adhering to the precautionary procedures related to COVID-19.
