Ambassador Al-Ansari Participates in the Capital's Model United Nations 2026

His Excellency Tariq Ali Faraj Al-Ansari, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Canada, participated in CAPMUN 2026, held at the campus of the University of Ottawa under the theme “Back to Diplomacy.” The event brought together more than 200 high school students representing schools from across Canada, alongside university-level organizers and participants, in a dynamic forum focused on diplomacy, dialogue, and global cooperation.


Qatar Declares Iranian Embassy Military, Security Attaches "Persona Non Grata" Doha

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs delivered an official note to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the State, stating that Qatar considers both the military attache and the security attache at the embassy, in addition to the staff of the two attache offices "persona non grata", and requests that they leave the country within a maximum period of (24) hours.




Qatar Reiterates Condemnation of Iranian Attacks Targeting Qatari Territory, Other Countries with Missiles and Drones

The State of Qatar reiterated its strongest condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting Qatari territory and several other brotherly countries with missiles and drones, in a flagrant violation of national sovereignty, a direct threat to the safety and security of civilians, a clear breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, and an unacceptable escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
