HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the meeting of the 7th session of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey, chaired by HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, will witness the signing of 11 new agreements, in addition to 80 previous agreements between the two countries..


Ministerial Meeting of the Qatari-Turkish Supreme Strategic Committee Begins in Doha

The Ministerial Preparatory Meeting of the 7th Session of the Supreme Strategic Committee between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Turkey, which will be held tomorrow under the chairmanship of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and HE President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan, began on Monday in Doha.

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani affirmed that the State of Qatar, under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, is committed to continuing its efforts to achieve stability and security in the region. This came during his participation today, via videoconferencing, in the 7th edition of the Rome MED Conference.


HH The Amir holds Talks with French President

His Highness The Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and HE President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron discussed friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them in various fields, especially the economic, investment, defense, security, educational and development fields, to achieve the mutual interests of the two friendly countries.



Qatar Renews Supports of Efforts Aiming to Resolve the Palestinian Issue and Establish Peace in the Middle-East

The State of Qatar has renewed its firm position of supporting efforts to resolve the Palestinian issue and achieve peace in the Middle East, stressing that the success of any initiative in finding a solution has to be based on international law, United Nations resolutions, the principle of land for peace and the Arab Peace Initiative. It also stressed that such a resolution must come through negotiation between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
