The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Participates in High-Level Event Celebrating International Day to Protect Education from Attack

HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani participated in the high-level event to celebrate the International Day to Protect Education from Attack, which comes on Sept. 9 of each year. The event was organized by Education Above All, the State of Qatar's permanent delegation to the United Nations, UNICEF, UNESCO, and the Special Representative for Children and Armed Conflict at the level of Under-Secretary-General.



Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Stresses Strong Qatar-US Relations, Ongoing Coordination on Afghanistan

HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah praised the strong relations between the State of Qatar and the United States and their development and growth, stressing ongoing joint coordination between the two countries regarding Afghanistan, especially in the evacuation operations and the provision of technical support to Afghanistan, as well as coordinating the provision of humanitarian assistance.

Qatar Confirms that 5th Conference on Least Developed Countries will Support its Path Towards Achieving Development for Next Ten Years

The State of Qatar affirmed that hosting the 5th Conference on the Least Developed Countries (UNLDC-5) comes within its keenness to support these countries in their efforts to meet the challenges and obstacles they face to achieve sustainable development, and expressed confidence that the conference will contribute to meeting the needs of the least developed countries and support their path towards achieving development for the next ten years in line with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
