The State of Qatar has reiterated its cooperation with various United Nations bodies related to the fight against terrorism, including Security Council's Committees, expert teams and the Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF), stressing support of their efforts in fulfilling their mandate in order to assist Member States.

On June 5, we woke up to news that four countries had imposed an air, land and sea blockade on Qatar, following a fierce 10-day campaign of lies and allegations, which clearly revealed that Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and Egypt started implementing their carefully plotted conspiracy aimed at the State of Qatar’s sovereignty and independent foreign policy, as they were hoping for a regime change in Qatar.

Doha, July 07 (QNA) - The State of Qatar expressed regret over the content of the two statements issued in Cairo and Jeddah by the four siege countries and the false accusations included in them that amount to defamation in contradiction with the established foundations of international relations.

HE Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani met on Tuesday with HE German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Sigmar Gabriel, who is currently visiting Doha.

The National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) of the State of Qatar has released a report documenting the violations against the citizens of the four Gulf states following the decision by three Gulf states (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and the Kingdom of Bahrain) to cut ties with Qatar, and impose a land blockade with shutting down the air and sea routes. Additionally, these three states notified their citizens that they have to leave the State of Qatar within 14 days, and banned Qatari citizens from entering their lands.

HE the Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani said that the four siege countries prepared demands that were meant to be rejected. His Excellency stressed that the demands violated international law and did not look to combat terrorism and instead focused on undermining and infringing on the sovereignty of Qatar, striking down on the freedom of press, and imposing auditing and probation mechanisms against the State of Qatar.
