H.E. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Investment Authority, met in Toronto with H.E the Right Hon. Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister of Canada, during H.E Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani official visit to Canada.
H.E the Prime Minister, raised the importance of further developing the relationship between Canada and Qatar, especially in the economic and commercial fields. H.E Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani praised the importance of Qatar’s relationship with Canada, and called for enhancing the economic ties between Qatar and Canada.
The meeting was attended by H.E Fahad bin Mohammed Kafood, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Canada, and the accompanying delegation of H.E Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, as well as a number of Canadian officials.
