HE Mr. Fahad Kafoud, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Canada, conducted an official visit to the province of British Columbia on April 13, 2015, Where HE met with The Honourable Judith Guichon, Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia and a number of senior Canadian officials.
During the meeting both sides discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries and between the State of Qatar and British Columbia specifically in commercial and educational fields, the energy sector , in addition to the promotion of investment opportunitieis between the state of qatar and B.C.

On the other hand, H.E Mr. Fahad Kafoud met with the Honourable Shirley Bond, Minister of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training, The Honourable Andrwe Wilkinson, Minister of Advanced Education, the Honourable Rich Coeman, , Deputy Premier and the Minister of Natural Gas Development, the Honourable Naomi Yamamoto, Minister of State for Tourism, President of Business Council, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and the Assistant Deputy for Enrgy and natural gas in B.C.

During the visit, H.E attended a House of Commons session as a guest of honor, where HE met with representatives of the political parties in V.C after the session The Honourable Linda Reid, president of the House of Commons in B.C. hosted a luncheon in honor of His Excellency Mr. Fahad Kafoud.
