Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada received, through video conference technology, the credentials of His Excellency Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Qatar to Canada Khalid bin Rashid Al-Mansouri.

HE the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, to HE Governor General of Canada, wishing her good health and happiness, and for the government and people of Canada continued progress and prosperity.

For her part, HE Governor General of Canada conveyed to HE the Ambassador her greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness, and the State of Qatar continued progress, development and prosperity.
