The Embassy of the State of Qatar in Ottawa organized in collaboration with other Arab diplomatic missions, the event of “Arab Day” in Algonquin College.

The event was attended by Canadian dignitaries among them H.E Omar Al-Ghabra the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs (Consular Affairs), and H.E Ambassador Salah A. Sarhan, Chief Representative of the Arab League in Washington.

The event was met with a wide turnout from students, academic staff and Arab community in Canada. During the event heritage, cultural, art and folklore gala was held in which all Arab Embassies participated in representations which reflected each respective country.
